Dragon Clan Saga

As promised, today announced the beginning of the second chapter, in which we meet Hana, Tasha's best friend.

Thank you to my personal editor =)

Enjoy.

Chapter 2. The Mark of the Dragon

The sun was just rising and it seemed a golden light in the novices dorms The idea that Tasha should go without it for a dangerous adventure, it caused an uneasy feeling in my stomach.

Since the couple had met for the first time in the temple, there had hardly been a moment where you saw it is not collected.

In the morning Mass the previous day, was the high priestess told them all the terrible news. Many suffocated screams were heard.

Hana itself could then remember hardly anything. Everything seemed to be at once a dream. Unreal and far away from their world.

had stunned Inwardly she sat and stared ahead. It was all she could do so as not to be overcome by despair. But even in this state again and again stole memories of her parents and her siblings in their consciousness. What would become of them alone? How did Hana save them?

As a hand gently on her shoulder, jumped with fright Hana. She saw on and looked into green eyes. The normally bright spring green was like now more frightened of the color of the sea, swam to the surface of algae. Hana could not

longer count how many hours of her life she spent so that these eyes had to study and explore their mood.

Tasha's strain was so off Hana ensichtlich, as it were in one of their history books that they loved. The two girls looked at one time. They knew each other long enough to know that there were no words at this moment.

When she had calmed down, told Tasha her forthcoming from the trip.

Hana's eyes widened. Their unzählligen books she had accumulated much knowledge about the four islands of the empire and it aufgsogen like a sponge. They understood read by Svara, the island of the wind people, their white wings they could carry from their floating capital to the far corners of the empire, and Kvoph, the dwarf island, so masterfully deal with stone, that many believed they had beaten the statues in the grotto. Their knowledge of local, sometimes obscure animal and plant life Tanis', others
novices always brought back to wonder.

And then there was Baria, the island of fire, which had more volcanoes than all other islands and whose traditions they had always fascinated her.

But so far they had never left Tanis.

"Baria! We will see Baria "All seemed to be forgotten in the face of imminent disaster of this message to be and Hana felt the sudden urge to dance.

Tasha had become deathly pale. Hana, who noticed the discomfort of her friend immediately, stopped immediately in their inner joy. She also read the outstretched arms to the sky to fall to the ground. The sympathy of the
her friend threw her, told her but she really turned everything on stubborn and thus forced Tasha pronounce the evil. Her voice was barely a whisper.

"I have to go alone ..."

Tasha spoke even more comforting words of apology, but Hana no longer listening. They knew that the friend did not want to hurt her, but she could not help but feel betrayed. Was it not been, the dream has always been like this to travel the other islands, we certainly would while Tasha was more than satisfied with their life as a novice and soon as a priest! She knew that it was unfair, but in this moment, they could the sight of Tasha's much to bear.

With tears streaming down face, she ran out and left a lonely, clueless girlfriend.

pleaded After the evening chanting High Priestess Davina they be allowed to accompany Tasha.

"Please let me go with her. I could pretend to be her servant. Only farmers traveling without staff. It is much less au all if I go with and this way I can spy among the servants and slaves. People hear a lot and would be treated as an over certainly not as suspicious. It would be much too dangerous to let them go alone. "

threw himself passionately Hana pleading at the feet of the High Priestess. Gaze lowered to the ground, they expected the verdict.

silent high priestess Davina long and Hana began to be uneasy. Surely they would realize how true her words were. They had to. Nevertheless, Hoff was not planning to pay right in it. During the day she had come for inspection
that it was not Tasha's was to blame. But by their bitter thoughts had been replaced only by anxious. Not only her family was in danger, but as Tasha. Hana's throat constricted If the thought of it that might happen to her anything and she was not nearby.

Kasu, please let me agree. I could not bear to see Tasha go alone on this journey.

As David said at last, her voice was gentle and understanding.

"Hana, Kasu Tasha has entrusted with this task alone. Have confidence that it considered their choice probably Getro en. All will end well. The goddess would never knowingly expose one of her attendants a hopeless situation. I also send a companion with her, of her as a consultant are page. It will therefore not be all alone. "

The Priestess lies next to the elegant Hana sink to the bottom. Her heavy white robe rustled in the silence of the Mirror Lake Grotto. She gently lifted Hana's chin with her right hand so that novice priestess and saw in his eyes.

"Tasha is an unusual young woman. Kasu is sympathetic to her and one day they will surely be a wonderful priest. "She paused for a moment.

Hana looked at her expectantly.

"Especially you should have confidence in their abilities. Could you be a more suitable person for imagine this difficult task? "High Priestess Davina looked at her with a knowing smile.

"In addition, you would remove anyone that you're a simple servant." She laughed indulgently.

Hana had not until just noticed that they had been holding his breath, ran the air out in a torrent. High Priestess Davina was right even if it scmerzte admit they need it to. If someone of this impossible task was grown, then it was Tasha. Nevertheless, she wished that she could accompany her. There were so many horrible stories about Baria, of which they like to know which were true.

***

pictures of big dark-haired warriors who rode through a burning landscape, flooded her thoughts. Savage war cries and loud breathing of exhausted horses reverberated in her ears.

torn by a rattling sound coming from her dreams, she could not suppress a cry of alarm just in time. The otherwise white walls glowed in an orange-red color and heat to meet her beat. A nervous giggle escaped

her throat and she scolded herself for her stupidity. Was it only the play of light of the rising sun. From sunrise awakened, now moved a number of other novices.

Hana decided that it was a good moment to get up. Tasha's deck had remained empty all night. She could only ho PEN that you had enough time to say goodbye, at least.

When she saw Tasha neither fair nor in the morning at breakfast, she was nervous. Tasha would certainly want to see her before she left again. Or was her friend she had left after their last conversation, so violent, they already forgotten in all the excitement?

Once again wish Hana someone would slap them for their uncertainty. Tasha was in the six years that they knew each other, have been nothing but the best friend, Hana would have to do. Nevertheless

would separate their ways now. Tasha would travel to the islands and they would remain here in the temple. Hana appreciated the service from the goddess of almost everything else, yet she sometimes imagined what life would be outside the temple walls, from which they knew almost nothing except what in their books stood.

Hana wished she could not feel relieved to have to go on this trip. So much depended on the success of this trip. She could put the pressure to perform this task with hardly imagine, yet they did not help envying her friend.

"It's very unlike you to have your head so fond. Is there some again to eat Harrak?

Tasha's delicate face pushed into Hana's view. A broad smile beautified her already beautiful features. Hana was relieved to finally see her friend.

"You know me too good. "Hana laughed joyless before they moved around the last time in her seaweed soup, and then pushed it from him.

Tasha grinned. Only then el Hana on how tired she looked and she remembered that her friend's last night had not slept. Presumably they had eaten nothing. She pushed her bowl over Tasha Harrak. This nodded gratefully and immediately ng to eat.

"Have you all preparations Getro PEN?"

"Yes, everything is ready. The merchant ship will sail in about two hours. I'll pretend to want to visit relatives in Sovaria. " Tasha was very businesslike.

Hana looked at her intently.

"How can you be so calm? When I think of it, then I am already nervous and start to shake. "As proof, she lifted her right hand, which trembled in fact. Challenging Tasha looked into green eyes. A soft smile played Tasha's lips.

"I'm not at all peaceful favorite, Hana. I'm just too tired. You can not imagine you, did not organize as much there is. "

Hana nodded. Tasha was right. They did not know. However, they did not intend Tasha with their irrational Jealousy to charge. Then another thought struck her.

"If you believe you Tanisin than ever that you have relatives there?"

Thoughtful Tasha swallowed down a piece of sweet bread.

"Apparently there are some tanis dealers who have offices in Sovaria. has also assured me High Priestess Davina, that you will not examine me too well when I feel like an insecure young woman behaving. "They rolled his eyes.

Hana could only pray that the High Priest was right.

arrived at this moment some other novices to them across. Most had to Hana together started here six years ago. As the time passed.

The girls hugged Tasha and wished her good luck. A shy girl, Tomita, came up to Hana, and embraced them as well. Hana, surprised by this gesture, responded with some delay and returned the embrace. Tomita nodded encouragingly.

"Kasu will you bring back your girlfriend. She would never such a strong band, destroy as between you. Remember you always. "

She could feel her accidentally got some tears in his eyes. Someone grabbed her hands. When she looked up, everyone had left to devote themselves to their duties. Tasha looked at her.

"I will come back!"

Hana could only nod.

wistfully watched Hana the hustle and bustle of the port. Everywhere ran about men and women to goods and messages quickly to bring them to their destination. left by a nearby ship passing on wobbly legs, the ship Deck.Die sbesatzung overtook them with strong Steps.

can not wait until it finally determined to go to the tavern nchstbeste thought Hana.

you and Tasha stood before a two-masted sailing ship. Just put the last men on board goods. Would soon take the ship. Hana expressed Tasha's hand more tightly.

bit off was high priestess Davina and discussed with the captain final instructions. Some scraps waved them over, but had made no sense. When they were finished, the captain went to inspect the work of his men.

High Priestess Davina joined satisfied with a Expression on her face to them.

"The ship is to sail the same. There are a few other passengers on board. Besides the captain, however, no one knows who you are. "

you eyeing Tasha's simple, pale-blue wool dress and black shoes that looked worn out already, but at least comfortable and were stable. She nodded. Apparently she was satisfied with what they saw.

"I wish I could stay here, but I expect some urgent matters in the temple." She looked undecided. She then took Tasha in the short arm.

"The prayers of priests and novices will be with you. May the Goddess guard on your way and protect you. "So she went to the next rickshaw.

The two girls looked after her until she vanished in the tumult of the port. Tasha exhaled loudly.

"I fi nde it also always scary when she is so cute."

"It is not." Tasha thought for a moment and then chuckled. "However, ... Now that you mention it. "Then she became serious again.

"But just as no one seems to behave really believe that I can omy. Why send
me go, then? "

" I believe in you. "

The girls looked at each other and then elen like two drowning in his arms.

"I only wish you'd have to not do this alone. You know not even know how you should go from the southern to the northern part of the temple without having to run up. I find it hard to imagine how you want to go on a foreign island to law. "

" I've only lost once. "

"The other times I've just found you just in time."

"You are doing so as if I am completely dependent. I am quite able to save the world. "

" Watch on you not to take up. "

Tasha gave her a playful pat on the arm. The other passengers were on board along a narrow plank. In desperation, turned to Hana Tasha. Tears were streaming down both cheeks. Tasha she wiped them away gently with your thumb.

A well-Hana shiver went through at her touch.

"I 'll miss you too. "She whispered so quietly that Hana had not understood about the noise almost. Tasha walked slowly toward the merchant vessel. Before the plank, she stopped and turned again to Hana.

"I love you." Hana flüusterte.

Tasha could not have heard this yet nodded as if to tell her that she had understood. Then she stuck by her shoulders and walked cautiously and with flowing red hair on the ship.

Hana was so trapped in their little world that they no longer perceived their environment. So she was surprised not even when she was hit. She turned around to see if anyone had come over or otherwise damaged.

When she saw no one, she turned back to the ship. Suddenly silenced all the noise around her all the light and turned away from her. Hana perceived only vaguely, as she caught someone before they sank into an all-encompassing darkness.

Dragon Clan Dragon Clan Saga Saga

as I have not managed last week to upload the second part of the first chapter, it will be this week, two posts.

Many thanks to my two Helferengelchen!

And without further ado I proudly present the end of the first chapter ...

Chapter 1: The eyes in the Spiers (cont)

slowly walked Grompe Gosstein up a narrow staircase, which ended in an equally narrow passage. The steps were leaked over the generations. The ceiling was low on him when he was in a wing of the old city was rupta - the city in the mountain.

every ten meters of an oil lamp hanging from the ceiling and illuminated the path. The light reflected from the polished against walls and ceilings. The walls, floors and ceilings were carved from the black rock of the mountain and extends into many hundreds of feet into the mountain.

It occasionally happened that some old programs einstürtzten and caves. Because of the dense population in rupta this resulted in almost all cases, to serious tragedies.

therefore had been started more than thirty years to expand the old tunnel to support new and better. However, there were so many that you previously had barely a fraction of Gescha t.

Gromps factory town was one of the oldest districts of the old town was just called. He had inherited from his father as that of his.

Gromps ancestors were among the first settlers who settled in the mountain, and so was the craft a long tradition of stone working in his family.

Sahla His wife was incessantly worried about that he could be buried in his city from the rock work and tried to persuade him constantly with his workshop in the vicinity of its lair to draw the lay in a new residential area.

Grompe repressed the thought of that possibility as best he could. The medieval town was after the accident, his parents the only thing he still had them and he was not ready to give up that connection.

The further away from the old town Grompe more broadly, the course. An old man, entgegenkam of him leaning on a cane, greeted with effusive.

"Oh, Grompe! How's your lovely wife and your children? "The voice was heard in the old baritone down the aisle.

"The woman does what she wants and the kids I get to see any more, since they are fully fledged. It seems they have forgotten their old master. How are you? "

Grompe looked down at his opposite. Jolek was already a good friend of his father was, and after his tragic death had practically adopted him and Jolek him as a Son treated. Though he sought always everyone - especially yourself - to convince them that he was doing fine without parents, but he was more than once been glad that Jolek was there for him and for him with help and advice side was. Especially if he had a full glass Zimpo ready for him.

Jolek Today however, saw tired and haggard. The age made him off ensichtlich PEN to prejudice.

"I'm still as fi t as it was twenty years ago. The bones may crack and squeak the joints, but if need be I can still chase you down the aisles, if you deserve it. " As for the threat lifted up his cane and waved Jolek powerless about it.

"That I would never doubt, old friend. I can still remember when the last time it was necessary ... My butt has not hurt weeks later. "Grompe laughed good-naturedly at the memory of it and joined in Jolek.

Then he became serious again.

"My wife is to me the same part can be, if not I'm home before the food gets cold."

"Yes, the women ..." Joleks face darkened slightly. Several years ago, died Joleks Woman from a disease which she had tied up for many years in bed. Despite this tragedy Jolek but had never given up the laughter. It was probably all over rupta not superficially cheerful person as Jolek.

"Well then go pull my boy, before your wife makes you the laughingstock of the neighborhood. I must admit the show I would like to view, but I still have something at Melli's done. "

Melli's was known throughout rupta inn, which was not in the old town not far from his factory town. The elders met there after work on a strong glass Zimpo and a round of cards.

made after a short goodbye Grompe again on the road.

***

The smell of roasting meat rose to his nose when Grompe pushed open the door to his lair. His wife sat next to the Sahla small fire on which a crispy brown bird hung. Beside her lay on a small plate, the ready-made vegetables.

heard him come in. As Sahla she turned to him, a big smile on her face. Silently, she pointed to a bowl of fresh water and soap, which was waiting for him every day for washing.

His face tired of looking at him out of the shell out. His reflection showed a little squat man with a round face and short brown hair. After a full day's work in the factory town of his face was covered with dark stone dust, which hid the wash water soon dark coloring and its mirror image.

covered while he washed his Sahla the small table on which was just enough room for four people. Wistfully recalled Grompe to it as it was when they still have all together with her daughter, Aya and her son Nogo eaten it.

Nogo, whose stomach was apparently not fully availed themselves regularly on the plate of his little sister, who threw him for it with equal regularity their Holzlöff el to the head and then comforted him when they had to pull the splinter out of his head.

Once Grompe and his wife were sitting at the table and the table had spoken prayers, Sahla asked about his day. He told her about the progress he had made from the bird statue, where he worked at the time.

The people of rupta rarely seen animals and so he made a good maintenance to almost lifelike animals made of stone to carve, which could put people in their caves. So that the animals actually looked realistic, he made several times in one trip. It has even been known to happen that he had visited one of the other islands for his research.

had occasionally invited Grompe his wife to accompany him, but she had always found an excuse to stay at home. Now that the children had left home, but she found it increasingly difficult to find suitable excuses and he had stopped to ask, because he knew how uncomfortable it is then always felt.

Sahla seemed perfectly happy with the life that they lived here. She went out regularly and visiting her children and neighbors and was everywhere popular. He, however, was viewed by most as the strange fellow.

"Kaava told me today that she has seen our son with a girl," Sahlas voice sprayed hope.

"Is she sure that she thinks our Nogo? I can still hear that is exactly as he told me that girls are good for nothing and bore him only. "

when she recalls those he choked with laughter at the piece of meat, that he had just filled with pleasure in the mouth. Sahla also laughed out loud when she heard Like her husband, imitating a child's voice of her son.

"It really is about time that he is looking for a nice girl. I would like to grow up that is still able to see my grandson. "A wistful sigh escaped her throat.

Grompe knew about Sahlas desire to have another child. But it was not intended to be and now they put all their opening in Ho grandchildren. It seemed Nogo yet to be the most likely source with his dislike for girls, because Aya had dedicated heart and soul to the students at the university. Many believed that they soon the youngest professor would be there. He was very proud of his daughter. On the other hand, his son ...

The Good for Nothing but actually had no idea what he wanted to do with his life. Grompe he would love to pass one day Familiengeschäff t, but had shown no Nogo Interersse and moved rather with his equally useless friends through the course.

His thoughts were interrupted by a thundering knock at the door was pushed open shortly and those ne'er-do enbarte off to which he had just thought of that.

Nogo surprised by its own momentum as you enter the cave, nearly tripped over his own feet before he was red-faced to face them. Visibly exhausted he could barely stand up. His breath was jerky and looked like a fish on shore. Alarm bells rang suddenly

Gromps going on in his head. Something was not right. Nogo probably had once again managed to bring in Schwierigkeitn. When he got the recoil was so strong that the stool on which he had sat clacking fell. With two strides he was standing in front of his son and looked deep into his eyes which terrified saw him again.

If "something happens to you? What's up? Are you in trouble? "

" Have you seen Aya? "Nogo looked expectantly at his parents. When this face staring at him with blank expressions, he continued.

"I wanted to be taken today with her en. It's her day off, as taken en we always, but today they did not appear at our meeting place. At first I did not worry me made, but when I then asked around among their friends, they had seen none. Professor Hojko said that she has probably crept into her cave to write her dissertation, but since it was not. And now I had belonging to T, that it is perhaps here weil. .. weil. .. "

Nogo to tremble nts's shoulders, quietly Schluchtzer burst from his throat. Grompe could not remember when he had his son the last time to see you cry. It was this fact that brought him more composure than almost anything else. It's not the first time that Aya had crept with their work and late in the evening appeared. But a voice in his head told him that this time something was different.

"Nogo, what else?" But was not listening. Still the tears rolled in Ströhmer from his face. Sahla held him in her arms and tried to comfort him as best they could, but Gromps impatience left him no time to wait.

"Nogo! Nogo, what else? Tell me! Buy it! "The last word he screamed, and finally his words seemed to penetrate to his son.

"Aya ... three days ... Aya ... "The rest of his words is lost in his sobs.

He tried again and this time the words came through loud and clear. Grompe froze. Incredulity was read in his face.

"Aya is the last three days have been seen by anyone."

A faint cry was heard from his wife. Now it was the Nogo Sahla seemed to maintain. Her hands had been clutching in his shirt, as if to prevent him from leaving her. Together, they placed her on a stool. Nogo who had apparently recovered somewhat, brought her a glass of water.

"I was a little busy lately and have not spoken much with her as usual addition, she wrote to her work. She has it they got to show you, Father. Usually she contacts every day. The last days
I get no message, but I just assumed, dass .. "Violent shaking Schluchtzer him. Grompe stood petrified in the middle of the room. His right hand clutched the table as if she were to tilt in danger.

The dinner was standing alone on it. Forgotten. As Aya ...

"I just took only that she was engrossed in her work. It was not the first time that such a thing happened, but when she showed it today, because I'm looking for. I was everywhere ... In every place I could think to and from the
I thought that Aya could be there ... But no one has seen ... That's all my fault. I should see her when she did not appear, as I have always done ... "

Grompe wanted to comfort his son and tell him that it was not his fault, but the words would not come from his lips.

"Why were we not notified sooner?" Certainly this would have happened if Aya had actually disappeared. Nogo's downcast expression left his heart for a few moments, and expose shrink. His confidence shattered into thousands pieces. Nogo's words were hardly audible, he whispered so softly.

"No one knew that she's gone, because no one has missed it ..."

The words hung like a silent accusation in the air. Similarly, in itself, as his parents, and Aya's friends. Sahla stared straight ahead and muttered repeatedly Aya's name. Nogo stared at his father when he would order him au him speak again.

blind rage boiled up in Grompe. As he would have just hung up on the mountain top and was now set with a powerful impact on the move, Grompe wandered into the cave and down. His hands were trembling. He had to do something.

In his helplessness, he began to eat from the table to clear. Aya who would do anything more? Who was so evil? Who?

The clanking noise as the platter with the vegetables, the wall met deafening echoed through the cave.
***

Grompe ran. All around him fi elen small and large boulders down, most of them fist.

Once he had left his lair in order to reach the throne room and Aya to report missing, so it could send out a search party, the earth started to shake violently. Lighter shocks had been felt throughout the day, none of them concern. But this time the shock of an entirely different Kalliber.

Everywhere people were running in one direction or another. Probably on the way to the assigned shelters, which had been specially created for such cases, or looking for friends and relatives.

He looked like a middle-aged woman from a smaller rocks at the head Getro s was and went to the ground. Some of their descendants aufzuhelfen tried, but were pushed by the further below. Grompe ran until he could no longer see the woman. He had seen no movement in it.

PEN He could only ho that after the first stroke death was was because there was no chance that they could survive the trampling of the people that swept over them now.

For a moment he had to run back the urge to make sure his wife and son and that they went well. The only reason he turned immediately, was that he knew that his lair was not far from a shelter and his family was probably among the first who were there in safety. He could only PEN ho, but even if he returned now, he would probably not be in all the chaos can be fi.

So he sent a hurried prayer Bogan and hope to te for the best.

And he ran on. He repeatedly dodged falling rocks and it entgegegnkommenden people. The closer he came to the throne room the more people ran in the same direction as him.

After a while it was nothing more than to exaggerate the power to leave. The suffocating feeling increasingly more desperate the people were was. The intensity of earthquakes increased, and it became increasingly difficult to stay on the moving floor on his feet.

Grompe was absolutely aware that even the smallest misstep could mean his death.

screams were getting louder. Mothers cried desperately for their children. Grompe closed his eyes for a moment. The youngest of them in this teeming mass of panicked people do not stand a chance.

finally opens himself to be the transition into a huge hall. The mass of people streamed in, and had spread though the air was still riddled with panic and fear, Grompe finally get back the feeling of air.

The throne room was one of the first elicited from the rock caves. Actually, we had taken a cave formed in a natural way and they advanced so that they could hold several hundred people.

Twice the weekly market was held here. Traders from outside came here and offered their goods dar. At the farthest end was blocked off an area in which the king held every day Audiezen.

Grompe moved slowly through the sedative masses. The hall was in great shape and only small black stones fi elen gelengentlich down here and there. When he had finally reached the cordoned-off area, he could see that this was stuffed. The king was surrounded by Bogans priests who forcefully persuaded him. Behind it were other advisors of the King, and listened attentively.

A young priest turned and Grompe caught a glimpse of his face. The priest seemed to be angry.

quake of that strength came not often, however, no details and it was certainly nothing about which one could be angry. Anxious or desperate for sure, but angry? After all, no one was to blame. No one could trigger such a quake on purpose ...

A terrible thought crept into his consciousness. No one but the God Bogan, who had led them into the mountains and had adopted as his children.

The priesthood enjoyed widespread popularity and steady growth of young novices. Never before had seen Grompe, that the God Bogan with something other than joy welcomed. But if he was really responsible for this event ... Why?

It made no sense to punish them for Bogan Sun Something must have happened. Unnoticed by many bystanders pushed Grompe continue to see the caravan to the king. Scattered fragments of conversation came to his ear and Grompe peered hereuaszu be what it was in the conversation.

"... Bogan ... Attack against ... five girls ... "An old priest with snow-white Hair ranking clearly to be replaced and even the king had become pale during the report. Several of the men standing around trying to make themselves heard.

addition Grompe was the only woman in the group. She stood very upright and radiated more authority than Grompe had ever seen in a woman. O they had lived ffensichtich give commands and execute them accordingly seen. In the face of this disorder among the congregation, she shook her head.

A man came up behind her and whispered something in her ear. Her lips narrowed into a thin line and she nodded gratefully to the man before they he turned away and walked purposefully to the king. Gromps surprise to no one tried to prevent them. As she bent down to the king to give him a message to deliver, Grompe fell for the first time the similarity between the king and the woman.

His sister, Grompe flashed through my mind.

The King, scarcely twenty-five years old and with a strong brown hair and bright gray eyes, seemed to relax in the presence of his sister immediately. He nodded and turned only once, the women standing around the set.

"So far no official declaration of war received, but we must prepare for every possibility. The current events show that we have become careless. Bogan is angry about our shortcomings and I rightly fear. We have failed to protect our fellow citizens. The penalty is the abduction of five of our daughters ... "

At this point, the murmur swelled rapidly in the surrounding crowd. Grompe, it was very hot. Aya! He was sure that it belonged to. There was no doubt!

He did not help but wonder about why the whole court took care of that question.

de king's sister paused briefly in her speech to give everyone the opportunity to collect himself. But when it was off ensichtlich that peace would not return so quickly, she continued, undeterred. Grompe had to strain to their words about the noise of many voices to understand.

"We did not notice the intruders, and can therefore its origin can not be clearly determined, but the priests are sure that the girls were taken to Baria."

So she left the small podium and let ihrere audience back in a vollkommenne mess. Heard from many quarters Grompe comments about their hardness of heart, because no word of regret came from her lips and her report because of their sensationalism is not sufficient enough.

Grompe would have been inclined to ebenfals as cold and calculating to estimate, but when he pursued them with his eyes, as she walked slowly through the crowd, he thought he saw her shoulders were trembling slightly. Her hands stands out more than once on her face. Grompe could not believe it. She was crying about?

suddenly appeared the smiling face of Aya's before his eyes and he knew what he had to do. With a straight back, he followed the sister of the king. He would look for Aya and the sister of the king would help him.
